Tonal Dressing: Winter Whites

I’m a huge fan of tonal dressing, and from how well received my tonal looks are on Instagram, i’d say you all love it too.

Tonal dressing is dressing from head to toe in different shades of the same colour family.

When looking through my inspiration boards on Pinterest and my saved section on IG, I find so many of my favourite images are tonal looks. Mixing those tones and textures just seems to catch the eye whilst still being refined and classic.

Mostly I love to play around with greys and camels in the winter months, whilst sticking to lighter tones for spring and summer. Recently, however, pulled this all white tonal look and fell in love with it. I suppose I do love wearing white in the winter, as impractical as it is. The key to tonal dressing is the mixture of textures, as much as it different tones of the same colour. The soft knit, with a structured coat and flowing trousers – all together it becomes the perfect statement power look.

I was thinking of doing some guides on tonal dressing for different seasons and styles – let me know if you would be interested over on IG.

Have a great week,
