Good morning & Happy Friday!
Lets talk a bit more about these boots! I have had so many messages and comments about them since I first shared them a few weeks ago so I thought I would add a little bit of background for anyone who is looking to purchase them. Firstly, it took me around 4-5 months to actually find these in my size. I searched everywhere. called all the stores in London (The Edinburgh boutique don’t stock shoes) and even in America when I was there in November. The worst thing about them never being in stock was that I couldn’t try them on and I had been told from numerous people to go up a size and some sales associates were saying to go down? Of course I wanted to try them on incase they eventually came online so in the end I just tried on different styles of boots in Louis Vuitton to hopefully gauge the size right.
I figured that I went up a half size or a size in my Chanel flats and Valentino rock studs so I decided to go for 38.5 and they were perfect, in fact seriously comfortable. Therefore I would say go up a half size or even a size depending on how wide your foot is.
As has often happened with my Louis Vuitton pieces the shoes randomly became available late at night online, so if you are looking for anything that has been sold out, it’s good to continuously check the website as it may just pop up at 2am. Thankfully they did as I think they are my most favourite pair of boots and I never thought i’d say that I liked a pair of boots more than my Balenciaga’s! Every time I look at them I get inspired, I find myself planning outfits in my head around them, it’s that thick heel and the chunky grip sole – ugh I just love them!
Anyway, here I am wearing them with old Mango lace up denims, a tan side biker and a slouchy white shirt. A very Marant inspired western look that is complimented so well with my new extra mini Gucci Dionysus, the black and brown tones just work so well together.
I hope you found this post somewhat useful if you are looking to get the boots, I mean have you seen them in black? (I also want that version!) but please let me know in the comments if you have more questions or just message me on twitter or instagram @lucyflorals.
Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for reading,
