The past few days I have been thinking about how quickly this year has passed, and all that I have managed to achieve in such a short space of time. As, I’m sure you will have noticed, I’m not one to often share my private life online. I started all this because of my love of fashion and I feel happiest focusing on it. However, that being said, it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t come on here and share some of my best moments and a thank you, because after all, if it wasn’t for you reading my blog, and following me, I wouldn’t be in this position today. Don’t worry, it won’t be a long one …
After two years of being unwell, I decided at the start of 2017 that I wanted my life back, and have literally done everything I could to make that happen. Now I am happy, healthy and this year I was able to finally run again! Now, I am focusing a lot on health and after over 10 years of being vegetarian I have decided to cut dairy out of my diet to try being plant based for a while. I’m really enjoying it so far, and I seen recently that January is ‘Veganuary’ – are any of you going to try it? Let me know in the comments below or message me on Instagram.
Most of all, however, this year I am thankful for how much the blog has developed. I decided early on in 2017 to stick to pure street style as that is what my stats were telling me was doing best, and that you all liked the most. Through focusing on that I managed to double my following in a short space of time and this year have built my blog into a job for myself and worked with some truly incredible brands from Gap to Shopbop to All Saints and so many more. I have been able to travel and meet many incredible and inspiring individuals who have pushed me to continue with this job despite the difficult times, and for that I am eternally grateful.
I am already working on exciting projects for next month so I will be back soon with lots of fresh content that I hope you will love! However, in the meantime, thank you for this year – I am forever grateful for all the support, likes, views and comments, it truly means the world to me. I hope you all have a wonderful New Year and wish you a very happy 2018.
