BELTED BLAZERS

I apologise for the delay in this post, it was set to go up on Monday but it’s been another busy week and my website continued to delete my draft post every time I thought I had saved it. Anyway, it’s live now and it’s also almost the weekend!

When I posted this look on my instagram stories a few weeks ago I received a number of messages about it, specifically where the belt was from.  Actually I got this belt at the All Saints outlet in Florida so it’s no longer available, but Free people have an incredible range of western style belts and so i’ve linked my favourites below.

As you all know, I love this blazer, and well pretty much every Prince of Wales check blazer I see. So naturally I was thinking of other ways to wear it, and because of the length it ended up working so well belted. It gives more shape and works well to give any outfit a different look. Personally I think adding an inexpensive belt to something is a great way to spruce up last season pieces or ones from previous years too, because it gives you a different look but at half the price. I can’t wait to start belting my coats when the weather gets colder, a western belt around a sleek grey or camel coat would be so perfect.

Do you have any tips or tricks to add to an outfit to give it a different look? Let me know in the comments below.

Have a wonderful weekend,

L x
