BUSINESS CASUAL

Pulling out one of my favourite Zara buys of all time (the check Blazer) after a few months of it being stored in my closet. I love September days, especially ones like this, because it’s not really warm enough to wear shorts or dresses but the light is beyond beautiful. I suppose thats the worst thing about winter in the UK is how short and dark the days are, so i’m making the most of this beautiful morning light before it goes.

Transitional days, as I have said so many times before, are always the hardest to dress for. I’m so ready to buy new pieces for my wardrobe but it’s still not cold enough to go full on Autumn-Winter. So when I was shopping last week, the only thing I could think to buy was denim – of course!

I picked these jeans up in Zara for only £30 and have been wearing them constantly! In the summer I normally wear my ripped denims, levi’s and mainly shorts and denim skirts. So pulling on a denim low-rise skinny with some detailing at the hem has been AW enough for currently. I loved the look all pulled together with my Stuart Weitzman heels, Blazer and one of my many Zara white v-neck tee’s.

Everything has been so busy lately with the blog and working, and it only seems to be getting busier with LFW, a few other trips and lots of exciting projects coming the next few months. I always find myself struggling to think about outfits for everyday life when i’m so busy with styling looks for projects, but honestly I think that’s when I find my favourite combinations, because I almost don’t have time to think. Are you similar, do you think when you overthink it, that it never works out? Let me know in the comments or tweet me @lucyflorals.

I hope you re all having a Fabulous Friday and looking forward to the weekend.

Awesome site you have here but I was curious if you knew of any message boards that cover the same
topics discussed here? I’d really like to be a part of
online community where I can get suggestions from other experienced individuals that share the same interest.
If you have any recommendations, please let me know.
    Many thanks!
