Summer Skin with Tom Ford

Everyone loves to have that summer glow, regardless whether you have been in the sun or live in Glasgow like I do and not get very much of it. To me, I always feel most summery when I have a tan and that sun kissed glow on my face.

Last year on Holiday I discovered one of my favourite products ever, the Tom Ford cream cheek colour in Pieno Sole. I have never had so many compliments on my skin before and let me tell you this is the easiest product to apply. I would wake up in the morning put on a little bit of tinted moistruiser and this and I was ready to go.

I love anything that looks great but also has minimal effort, so of course this was the perfect product for me.

A few weeks ago I was introduced to the Tom Ford Summer collection and had an incredible on counter experience in store in Glasgow. I am by no means a make-up artist and sometimes find new products daunting because I’m unsure how to apply them correctly. Grant at Tom Ford in Glasgow was amazing, he taught me how to apply these products that can be used in numerous ways and how to apply them for the different looks that I

One of my new favourite products, which I have mentioned many times on my Instagram stories is the cream and powder eye colour. These are extremely versatile and so easy to apply so they give off the most effortless summer vibe, that would compliment any look.

At first I was loving Naked bronze but Grant introduced me to Sun Worship and it was exactly the everyday daytime cream eye colour I had been looking for, especially for our summer trips. The you add the powder over the cream and you are set for nighttime.

My other favourite product from the collection is the sheer highlighting duo in Reflects Gilt. This is probably my all-time favourite highlight and as soon as he applied it to my face I knew I had to have one. Again, as with everything in the Tom Ford beauty collections I find them so effortless and easy to apply yet the versatility to use the products in so many ways – like wet or dry for example. Plus they last long and so you get what you pay for in that respect.

I would really recommend stopping by the counter in Glasgow, or nearest to you and chatting to the staff about the collections and products and if you have any questions about how to use them like I did, then just ask – they are so helpful! I had such a wonderful time and loved my make-up, Grant new exactly the style I wanted and I honestly couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience as well as the collection.
