Dorothy Perkins Leather Trousers  & here | RI Strappy Sandals | White blazer with satin lapel (down to £28!) | Dorothy Perkins Satin Blush Blouse | Gucci Dionysus

I’ve mentioned many
times that I’m not into dressing up, now don’t get me wrong, I love to look
smart and well presented but I have always preferred a more masculine look
compared to feminine pretty dresses. I don’t know how many times I have said on here and to people that I will wear a two piece suit to my wedding…

Christmas, however, is a time
when people love to dress up and so the last thing you want to feel is under dressed. Taking this into account I have found the best way to do Christmas dressing is to mix things up and add feminine touches but still
keeping the look to my style.

It also means your look will be different to others.

I always start with mixing textures. I love silks
and leather, even adding velvet is great because it gives a luxurious feel but you can still rock it with those leather
look trousers.

This satin blush
blouse is one of my favourite pieces for the season – beautiful, eye
catching and goes with everything to dress it up or down. The satin and especially the blush tone adds that feminine tone to break up the look. I am so glad I found this Dorothy Perkins blouse as I’ve been searching for a good one this colour for months now.

Blazers always pull an outfit together & are great for a day to night look if you are heading
out for festive fun after work one evening. I love the length of this Dorothy Perkins white one as the shape at the back is really flattering (aka makes my bum look nice…)

Whats your favourite thing to wear for festive nights out? If you are like me and love to always rock trousers, tweet me @florals_corals and let me know!

I’m still thinking of what to wear on Christmas day this year, last year I wore tailored trousers with a cropped fur jacket and my Valentino Rockstuds – we are heading out again this Christmas so please leave me comments below of what festive outfits you have planned! I am always looking for different ideas.
