When thinking about my hair journey its difficult to know where to start, i’m naturally blonde but for 4 years I dyed my hair brown, I chopped it short and then grew it long again.  Although i’m sure if you look back to my early blog posts you will see it all and can have a giggle. It’s only now that i’m finally happy with my hair, I knew I had to find a hairstyle and colour that suited my style and my face shape, as well as something that would photograph well.

It took a few years but now I know that a long bob styled curly or wavy and in my natural blonde (with some extra added highlights of course) is what works for me. In blogging, it’s often difficult because we’re just normal people and not models – well i’m definitely not – so it’s important to work with what you have and enhance that rather than trying to look like someone else.

I have a great hair stylist at Salon Above, a salon close to where I live, who does my cut and colour and I love it. However, when I shoot 2-3 times a week for the blog and social media, I can’t always go to the hairdresser and instead needed a simple and easy routine that still looked great on camera.

Thats where the Bardou products come in, after i’ve washed my hair with the shampoo and conditioner, I do some loose waves with my curling wand then use the Bardou hairspray to hold it. After that I go in with the amazing Bardou dry shampoo for extra volume. The products are great, smell insanely good and being keratin enriched they help protect my hair whilst making it glossy and fabulous, not to mention the chic packaging of the products looks perfect in my bathroom.

It’s no doubt these products are used by fashionistas and bloggers from all over the world, check the products and some testimonials out here! If you decide you want to try these products out let me know and don’t forget to use the code LUCYC10 for a discount!

I can’t wait to get a bouncy blow dry at their beautiful London salon when I’m down next month!

Enjoy the rest of your week – not long until the weekend!
