On Monday, I was lucky enough to be invited to The Day Dreamer Brunch, hosted by the incredible Christina Miller ( The Daydreamer) in association with Debenhams & the Blythswood. Obviously, the event was held at my favourite place in Glasgow, Blythswood Square. Now, if you know me personally you will know that Chris (my boyfriend) and I stay and go here often, but this being my first intimate event at the hotel, I am even more impressed.
We had the tastiest brunch of pastries, muffins, smoked salmon & cream cheese, and sipped tea while we chatted about how Debenhams have completely upped their game with their new designers collections. We were lucky enough to be able to get a first look at some of the stunning pieces of the Todd Lynn & Jonathan Saunders. My personal favourites were this Khaki sweater (I am seriously about to purchase) & this leather dress! Along with almost all of his handbags – I think I want the full collection, my christmas list is growing and growing. Be sure you check out the /Edition collections on the Debenhams site – you won’t be disappointed.
The company was of course the best and most stylish Scottish Bloggers, including those such as Christina (The Daydreamer ), our wonderful host. Wendy(Thankfifi), Tatyana (Secret Little Stars), Stylist Kelly, who you may know as Dress Sense Lady on Instagram ( the best Instagram account to follow) Betty (Forever Yours, Betty) Bee (Bee Waits), the stylish Emma Hutcheson, who is one to watch, follow her instagram & watch out for exciting things to come, Rachel Lawler (Caledonista) and of course the amazing ladies from Debenhams Eve & Laura.
Oh and not to forgot the morning was made even better as we all enjoyed Ishga hand massages courtesy of the Blythswood Spa therapists, which was unbelievably relaxing for a stormy Monday morning. I can’t wait to go back to the spa to try more treatments, and of course to check out more of these Timeless Candles which they stock. I have been burning my Black Plum & Pomegranate candle and the scent is so strong and beautiful, I have to try more.
I wore, my new Mango camel coat of course, along with my H! By Henry Holland at Debenhams loafers, leather trousers & a chambray shirt to tone the look down a little. What do you think? Was it brunch appropriate?
Thank you again to Christina (The Daydreamer) and Debenhams for having me, I don’t think you could have brightened up my Monday morning more than you did.
