As much as I love scandinavian minimal interior,  I also love vintage pieces and Parisian design. My room is a mix of vintage (and vintage looking) pieces, pastel pinks, a lot of white and now I have started to add in some black. I decided to add the subtle black frames in order to give it more of a nordic look.

I rearranged my desk area last week and I love it so far. My desk and chair have the vintage French look that I love, but I feel that all white and black is so fresh and minimal that I wanted to transform this small space to resemble something similar.

I love photos and prints and I had bought the mind over matter print from (her prints are amazing and so reasonably priced) and I added some plain frames from Ikea to sit at the back of my desk. Then with some fresh flowers in a vintage jug and a Diptyque candle, it looked perfect.

In the alcove above my desk I have another black and white frame with a copy of the Warhol print, with a twist, as you can only buy the actual prints in Stockholm. It was a gift and I absolutely love it.

I also use the alcove to store some of my favourite jewellery and that which I wear everyday. My watch and my Hermes bracelet, and my rings hanging on the Deer my mum got me for Christmas.

I hope you liked my workspace, please let me know of any ideas for simple minimal spaces as I hope to redecorate my whole bedroom throughout the summer.

Have a lovely week.

    Great minds!

Your works space is so pretty. I, too am obsessed with both scandi design and the french vintage-y vibe. You totally nailed it!

Note to self, i need more fashion books in my life.

Wow, your work space is so clean and pretty – I have no eye for design at all and I wouldn't know where to start when it comes to redesigning my work space. I'm actually going to bookmark this post so I'll have ideas when I have to move to a new flat and can re-do my desk area. Thanks for the inspiration!

I love it. It is so personal… I really like every single detail you put on it.
