Trench: H&M, Trousers: Zara, Slides: River Island, Grey Sweatshirt: Isabel Marant Pour H&M, Fedora: H&M and Mens white shirt.

I am obsessed with easy laid back style just now, trainers, slides and long slouchy layers. I am on the hunt for the part pair of wide leg trousers to wear with this outfit, instead of the skinny ones, but haven’t found any I like yet. Please let me know any suggestions.

I took these photos in the sun (evidently by my scrunched up eyes) and so as it was pretty warm, and I couldn’t see, I decided to put my hat on and ditch the trench coat. What do you think of the slides/sandals trend? Are you happy because you can now wear comfy Birkenstocks without feeling totally uncool? I am.

Also these photos were taken with my new Nikkor 50mm F/1.8G lens, still struggling to work it, so if anyone has any tips – please let me know. (Particularly how to get the background to blur out? – I’m struggling with it)

Have a happy Friday and great weekend.

You look amazing! Laid back and effortless, but with such detail to the layering and accessories – girl you have a talent!!!

Loving all the muted tones and your hair is gorgeous!

Yay for a new domain and a new lens! For the background to blur, make sure you set the background to ultimate bluriness on your camera (you go into "creative mode" on that one), and it gets even blurrier if you shoot in manual rather than automatic (that way you can choose the focus of your photo). Also, I'm so down for the birkenstocks come back. I love that chill, effortless vibe.

Cool look, I like mixing warm weather pieces with cooler ones. Anything paradoxical gives me a thrill, maybe I'll blog about that.
Great photos wish I could take photos as good!

Do you use a tripod and a timer to take your pictures, or a remote? I love how affordable your outfit is, yet how luxe you manage to make it look—a mark of a true fashionista.
