Personally, I love Valentines day and not only because I have a boyfriend who spoils me but mostly because it’s nice to be nice to others. I like to stay positive and happy and be nice to people that I sometimes won’t always make an effort with. However, I am still very lucky int he sense that my love, Chris, bought me beautiful gifts, flowers and took me out for a lovely dinner. So I thought I might share some pictures with you. He brought me these gorgeous flowers in the morning, from my favourite florist owned by a couple from the Netherlands – I am obsessed with fresh flowers and theirs are the very best. Chris also bought me a new diptyque candle (Roses scent) and one of the new sold out “stressed but well dressed” Zara clutch bags. I have fallen in love with it! Along with the first ever edition of Porter magazine.

I have added some pictures from my phone in a collage to show you what I made for him and some pictures from last night as I didn’t take my camera out with me. My boyfriend is extremely fit and healthy and thus I tried to fit his gifts around that and made him a healthy food basket with treats like dark chocolate and peanut butter, Whittard coffee beans and then some fruit, and I also bought him new nike running things. I believe that a little effort goes a long way.

Finally, we went out to Italian Caffe in Glasgow’s Merchant City for dinner and has gorgeous Italian Tapas. I wore my black suede SoKate Louboutin’s for the second time ever, along with my new clutch bag, Zara ripped jeans, white blazer and blouse and Zara grey coat over my shoulders.

I hope you all had a lovely and happy day yesterday and that you have a wonderful weekend.

Well looks like you had an excellent Valentine's day! Aren't you a lucky girl? :]
Love your positive attitude towards V-day as well – I feel similarly. I think Valentine's day isn't necessarily for couples, but for people to appreciate those they love (like friends, family, and, of course, romantic relationships).

Glad you had a great day! :]
