ZARA WINTER WARDROBE PURCHASES

As it’s November and the temperatures just suddenly dropped to below freezing in Scotland, I thought you might need some layering and wrapping up inspiration.

If you read this blog often you will know I am possibly Zara’s biggest fan – especially this season. The have out done themselves with chic, well made, low key pieces that look stunning on. I love plain and simple but with an edge, Zara has certainly done that this season.

I wanted to purchase this double breasted blue coat way back at the end of July/August, when they started bringing them out into the stores. However I bought a peacoat to do me until it got a little colder for a long proper coat. So you can imagine how excited I was when I was shopping on Saturday and seen my coat had been reduced from £70 to £30! Its a beautifully made navy blue wool coat – amazing! I think Zara have had trouble with their stock this year as they made lots of key pieces with many colours and it hasn’t been as cold as usual here so they have reduced a lot of their coats!

I also got these cute black patent pumps while I was in on Saturday. I have been after them for a while (forever wishing for a Jimmy Choo pair – pray for me!) as it’s my boyfriend birthday very soon and we will be going out a lot. Can’t wait to wear them with a pencil skirt or some tailored trousers and a jumper.

Finally, this jumper! I’m going to get this week, I’m pretty into polo necks just now, and this cropped ribbed one is amazing and a great price too.

Oh Zara, you never fail to make my life that little bit better.

Hope you’re having a lovely Monday and good start to your week wherever you are.
