As the weather in Glasgow gets worse every day it seemed the perfect time to swap my shoes for ankle boots. I like them better anyway. I’m on the hunt for the perfect cowboy/western style black and distressed look boot but haven’t yet found anything.

I posted about these Sam Edelman boots a few weeks back and last week I finally ordered them. They came on Friday and I’m absolutely in love with them. They are so well made and fit my foot perfectly. The leopard hair stands out much more than a cheap looking print making them look much more expensive than they actually are. They’re the perfect fit for my skinnies and over all just a great autumn boot.

It wasn’t just an exciting shoe day for me on Friday however, my boyfriend also bought amazing new boots that I think i’ve fallen for. He got these amazing distressed brown Dr Marten chelsea boots. They are so chic and cool on, I’m very jealous. They epitimise his simple, classic yet edgy style and complete his ever stylish look. They are perfect for Scottish winters with the thick sole and are incredibly well made. What a great choice.

your boyfriend's boots are PERFECT- i always loved distressed pairs the most. for you though, have you tried topshop? they sometimes have "free shipping" deals online (especially if you sign up for their newsletter) and they have THE best boot selection ever. and their sales are ridiculous- i once got a pair for only $20!
