“Black is modest and arrogant at the same time. Black is lazy and easy – but mysterious. But above all, black says this: I don’t bother you – don’t bother me.’ ”

“Black is not sad. Bright colours are what depresses me. They’re so … empty. Black is poetic. How do you imagine a poet? In a bright yellow jacket? Probably not.”

Ann Demeulemeester

Every year around September I’m desperate to get back into my all black outfits. I still wear black most of the summer but I try to split it up and wear white and light greys etc.

They’re so simple and easy to match yet they stand out and look clean. Black is so easy to wear, I love to layer it – black jeans, T-shirt, and coat – because it goes with everything.

I’m wearing H&M leather look trousers with H&M black oversized tee and Sam Edelman leopard booties.

Since my doggy is black and white I just couldn’t leave her out.

I think all black outfits are quite chic but the pop of leopard from your shoes really elevates this look! I love it! :]

I once knew a Greek guy who HATED black, he said it is the colour of widows and old ladies. It put me off…for a while…but what else truly goes with everything and makes the wearer look six pounds lighter!!

haha! I suppose if I lived in the sun I might prefer white to black ๐Ÿ˜› But just now I just love it, I find it mysterious and interesting and cool. It reminds me of the Olsen twins and I absolutely love their style! And definitely an all black outfit makes you look much slimmer ๐Ÿ˜› Thanks for stopping by ๐Ÿ™‚ xxx

The different textures really make the outfit pop though, as well as those fab boots! Wish I could pull off leather trousers…you look fab! xx
